Hi, my name is Joe. I've been designing websites as a freelance website designer since 2015. My basic design philosophy is to try and break down the client's business into a format that is clean, intuitive and user friendly. Although I started my business in earnest in 2015, my roots in website design go back as far as 1999 when my Uncle asked me to design a website for his business partner's medical business. At the time, I had zero experience in website design, but I took the time to teach myself how to code in HTML and later CSS in order to get the job done.
Soon after publishing my first website I got a full-time position at a safety supply company in Honolulu, Hawaii. I focused on my work there for many years before another opportunity came my way, and I designed and published my second website in 2009. For the years between 2009 and 2015 I focused on my full-time position, working my way up from Warehouse Worker to the Branch Manager of the company. I was very dedicated to the company that I worked for, but I found myself working 15 hour days 6 days a week, and I was looking to go into a career where I could have a better work/life balance as I was about to become a father. I decided to start my own business designing websites and I've had the privilege of being able to do that for a living since. I now reside and work out of Utah.
